The Parish of St. Dunstan is a religious community that offers free community meals on Thursdays for the neighborhood of Aldergrove.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Kitchen support (including head cook)
- Assistant cooks
- Food packagers
- Food distributors
- Children’s Program
Thursday Community Meal
“No one is turned away”
- The Thursday Meal is for members of the neighborhood where a hot, home-cooked meal is always ready for everyone who comes
- Around 45 people are served each week, of which many rely on this meal.
- Volunteers, hosts, and cooks are always needed. Please connect with them if you would like to help in any way.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Volunteers will have a good sense of community and help meet an important need in our neighborhood by providing a great meal to others
- Positions include kitchen support (including head cook), assistant cooks, food packagers, and food distributors
- Children’s Program volunteers must all complete a Criminal Record Check.
