Learn about our Cards for Seniors program

Since 2021, we have delivered over 33,000 cards to seniors across Langley! We deliver cards to over 40 schools in Langley for students from Kindergarten through University to write a personal message to seniors in the area. The cards are picked up and delivered to seniors residences, senior services such as Langley Meals on Wheels, Langley Seniors Resource Society, and the Aldergrove Legion. We will also be delivering these heartfelt cards to the Langley Hospice Society and the Langley Memorial hospital! We have a number of card programs throughout the year. Along with Remembrance Day for veterans, we also have a Winter card, Valentines and Spring card series. Our program expanded last year so individuals can also be registered to received cards from students and youth groups in the area. It’s a heart-filled program that brings joy to both those completing the cards, and those receiving them.

If you would like to help with this program please register to volunteer with us 🙂
